Innovation Days and Italian Pavilion at NAIAS AutoMobili-D 2020, Detroit, MI


On June 9-11, 2020, at the most important U.S. trade show in the automotive sector, the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) organizes its Innovation Days initiative within the AutoMobili-D Pavilion, dedicated to new technologies. The event will be held in DETROIT, at the TCF Center, formerly known as COBO exhibition center. 

For visitors much more than just a Pavilion!

The Italian Pavilion will serve as a 360° full-service, business-to-business hub, to let visitors interact with the Italian automotive innovation ecosystem. The ITA invites exhibitors who wish to contribute to showcasing Italy’s advanced technological solutions, both from industry and research. The Agency’s goal is to deliver to participants a well rounded event experience with a high visibility and an opportunity to acquire new business and/or forge new partnerships. 

1. Exhibition floor

- ITA’s pavilion area is sectioned into four spaces

  • Individual booths for companies, universities, research centers

  • Workstations for startups

  • Presentation room, with audio-video equipment (to be confirmed)

  • Welcome desk

2. Roundtable discussion
- ITA organizes a round table, focused on the Italian entrepreneurial, technological and scientific landscape and on public policies in the automotive sector

3. Networking event
- ITA organizes a networking event to follow the round table, with the aim of providing an opportunity to share industry and research information and insights 

4. Promotional campaigns
- In support of the Italian participation, ITA will carry out cross-channel communication actions.

Exhibiting within the ITA pavilion is reserved to Italian-based entities and their subsidiaries abroad.

The show

AutoMobili-D is known as NAIAS’s "Innovation Pavilion" and is open just during the show’s preview days, to which only industry professionals and journalists are admitted. In addition to an exhibition area, Automobili-D offers companies and technology-intensive start-ups a full program of match making opportunities, pitch competitions in the presence of companies and investors in the mobility sector and technical seminar sessions complemented by networking events.
